Where to Eat in NYC After Your Workout

With an incredible assortment of delicious restaurants at our doorstep, it can be borderline impossible to decide where to go next. So, we’ve enlisted our knowledgeable friends at Taste Savant to help us out.

If you haven’t heard of them yet, here’s their deal: Taste Savant is our favorite go-to site for finding the perfect place to dine out. They compile all the professional critic, chef and industry expert reviews for only the very best restaurants. Basically, they do all the work for you: with menus, reservations through OpenTable, and delivery by GrubHub. It’s all right at your fingertips. And the best part? They just launched their iPhone app last week, making our lives even easier.

  1. Spring Street Natural
    Been splurging all week? After Cyc, head straight to Spring Street Natural, where eating healthy is a piece of cake (well, not actual cake, but you get what we mean.) The New York gem of eating healthy is still going strong after 30 years. We’re so lucky to be close by.

  1. The Smile
    The Smile serves it all – brunch, lunch and dinner, with a side of amazing people watching – which makes it a great place post-Cyc. Come as you are, because this spot is relaxed and cozy to the core. Reservations accepted if dining in, otherwise grab-and-go at the aptly named The Smile To Go.

  1. One Lucky Duck
    Everyone knows Pure Food & Wine are great for their delicious healthy options, but did you know that you can get it all to go at One Lucky Duck? You can also check out their juices and cleanse options. It’s a 10-minute walk from Cyc—which is the exact amount of time it takes us to figure out what we’ll be ordering.

  1. The Grey Dog – Union Square
    Not too far from your Cyc saddle, is a great place to grab brunch after a Saturday morning road trip. It just so happens to also be a top date spot on How About We. Two birds, one stone, if you catch our drift….

  1. Rai Rai Ken
    A favorite of Chef Sara Jenkins (of Porchetta & Porsena fame), this noodle shop is perfect for lunch or dinner. Rai Rai Ken has been offering healthy alternatives to traditional ramen– sans MSG—for over a decade. Plus, you can dine in or take it to go.
